External userís participation in the teleconference

(users, except Stapro employees, e.g. a customer, an external consultant etc):

Upon an invitation by a STAPRO employee (made by e-mail or by sending a link, e.g. via Instant Messenger) it is possible to attend the LYNC conference (group conversation) by means of Attendee Client

Required steps:

1) Installation of STAPRO ROOT CERTIFICATE

It is necessary for the participant to have the STAPRO root certificate installed in advance.
ATTENTION: Install via the MMC console as a certificate FOR COMPUTER!!!! Installation via Internet Explorer may not be sufficient.
Guidance can be found here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/cc754431.aspx

2) Attendee Client

enables external userís full-value participation in the teleconference (voice, video, image, sharing).

Each participant must install the Attendee Client at the station from which he/she will connect, and this must be done prior to logging in the conference:

Download the Client from Microsoft website:

If you are the administrator of your station, use the following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23396

If you are a user with the rights to install (mostly at least "power users"; "users" is not enough), use the following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=15755

If you do not have even such rights, ask you network administrator for help.

It is necessary to install the ROOT CERTIFICATE prior to logging in (see in Step 1)

3) Opening of ports

If you encounter problems, they will probably be caused by the fact that communication is not permitted to all necessary ports from your network outwards (to the LYNC Stapro servers).

Ask your network (firewall) administrator to permit the necessary outward communication:

Connecting servers on the STAPRO side:

webcon.stapro.cz 62.77.77.138
av.stapro.cz 62.77.77.139

Firewall setting

OUTGOING PORTS must be enabled †for these servers (pay attention to differentiate between TCP and UDP!):

TCP80, 443, 444, 4443, 5061
UDP3478
TCP50000-59999
UDP50000-59999
